I designed the Grandmaster series to reflect a pivotal time in my life when rap music, or hip hop as we know it today, first hit the scene. I was instantly hit with a sound that was so different and refreshing from the mundane and unoriginal tunes that dominated the airwaves. The clothes, shoes, and unexpected style that this genre of music represented made me want to live the lifestyle of a rapper. I was especially captivated by the eyewear these artists wore. They were the coolest glasses I had ever seen. A frame like no other, the Grandmaster series sits with all great designs of the past and easily transitions from off ice to street.
