Frame Description:
Radford Motors is a coach-building company that builds one-of-one bespoke cars with a lean on the past and an eye on the future. We've partnered with Radford to design a sunglass that explores the intersections of automotive and eyewear heritage. We looked at key moments in racing where iconic eyewear played a role: Paul Newman racing Le Mans in ’79 wearing his signature teardrop shades, or Steve McQueen customizing his personal driving frames. Full of retro details and inspired by world-class F1 Engineering, the RS-500 is a celebration of sunglasses in racing.
When we consider the overall performance of the driver, sight is the one sense above all others that needs to be optimized. This collaboration with Radford is about creating luxury eyewear pieces that excel in on-road performance to provide the ultimate bespoke driving experience. We are driven to build custom timeless designs, with a lean into the past and eye to the future.

- 100% Made In Japan with high quality Japanese componentry.
- Aerospace Grade Japanese Titanium provides durability with a featherweight feel.
- Full custom titanium automotive inspired side hood and front grill.
- Radford motors Type 62-2 inspired colors including the limited edition John Player Special (JPS) and Gold Leaf (GL). Heritage colors are Pantone matched to the cars.
- Organic SALT. pattern is custom stamped on inside of temple tips and nose pads adding a unique identity and providing more grip against the skin to increase the fit retention of the frame.
- Genuine perforated leather case with velvet interior and custom eyewear cloth.
Lens: Polarized optical grade CR-39 lenses, anti-reflective, hydrophobic, and oleophobic coatings reduce glare, repel dirt & water, and diffuse harmful light rays to ensure the highest optical clarity and performance.
Shipping: Occasionally SALT. frames may have to be special ordered from the manufacturer and will take 1-2 days to arrive before shipping.

Any return or exchange must be in brand new, unworn condition in order to qualify for a full refund. Any frame with wear/damage is subject to a restocking fee based on our discretion.
