Inspired by the audaciousness of those fabled explorers, Akoni’s Pyxis also aims to push past known frontiers and discover new territories. The substantial design builds upon the familiar masculine silhouette of the classic wellington frames, which were a popular choice for postwar cinema’s greatest leading men . But, never one for opting for the expected routes, Akoni’s design team navigates new trails , adding a host of impressive new elements, including eye-catching visible titanium cores, expertly positioned to float within laminated Japanese acetate temples.
