Hazemaster revives another highly sought-after style from the American Optical archives of the 1960s. It was specifically designed for outdoorsmen, fishermen, hunters, and marksmen, featuring a sweat bar and unique yellow Hazemaster lenses that cut through fog, mist, or haze. The total absence of the blue end of the spectrum from the Hazemaster lens produces a crisper outline in outdoor haze. Autumn foliage viewers favor Hazemaster lenses because the reds, ambers and yellows of fall leaves are much more vivid with blue tints absent.
